Washington AND Idaho, here we come!!

I can NOT wait for our vacation!! We are booked for our airline, rental car and luxury resort-for part of our trip, and at Mom's for the remainder.

We will leave *here* on the 16th of August and head to Spokane (where my Mom is) and we will stay there for the first 3 days and then head over to Cour D'Alene for 5 nights. Then we will head back to Spokane for an extra 3 days with Mom, and to celebrate Lila's 3rd birthday!

While in Spokane we will go peach picking (I think) and then to some wineries and farms. We will go to a very nice, large park and feed the duckies and just hang out and catch up with Grandma. We will have her newly remodeled basement to sleep in and watch DVD's (well, the kids will--hopefully it will help settle them for bed).




In Cour D'Alene we will stay at the Cour D'Alene resort http://www.cdaresort.com/
It is beautiful and NICE...I made a reservation and realized how expensive it was and then changed our room to save quite a bit of money. Sooooo, that money can now, more easily, be put towards the theme park we will visit, huckleberry picking, dining out, room service (which I LOVE), spa services and jet skiing--Yipeee!
Our anniversary is the day before we come back to Spokane--that should be fun!

The resort also has a private beach, with cabanas, chairs, food and drinks, that we will be ferried to (it's a mini beach/island).
Also, Cour D'Alene is only 45 min. from Spokane! Not bad at all!

Father's Day Fun!

We made some pictures and cards for Daddy and wanted to share them. Pardon the bad pics, I am still trying to figure out this difficult camera...

It's time for T-ball!!!

Daisy and Joshua have started T-ball!! The cool thing is that they are playing on the same team with our very good friends' kids! All 3 of our families know each other!

One family we signed up with and the other family surprised us when they showed up!

Vacation Plans...Where to go....???

We are trying to decide where to go and it is mostly up to me. Talk about pressure!
My instinct tells me to go see family, although many have told me that's not a real vacation. ANYTHING (pretty much) that takes me away from my messy house and chores is a vacation. But that's just me, right now. I am a big believer in seeing family before everyone changes too much.
In Idaho are my sisters. We're not super close, but we have fun and I love to see the cousins interact and get to know each other. My older sisters kids are older. 16, 14 1/2 and 10. The older two will probably move out in a couple years and then it just isn't the same.

My Mom is in Spokane and we've never seen her new house. I haven't been there since Daisy was 9 months. My Mom was here last when Joshua turned 4.

The idea is to see my Mom and sisters in the same trip. Fly to Spokane, go to Cour d' Alane Resort for a few days, then go to Boise to see my sisters. It would be nice for them all to see Lila now and see Savannah!

Kevin loved our Tahoe trip last August and wants something similar this year.
We said Hawaii was too long a plane ride...I want something fun AND relaxing at the same time. No long car trips. Has anyone been to Lake Hume?

My Mom can't come down here all that much because of health and money...my sister and her husband have a very limited budget and there is 5 of them.

ANY ideas???? We need to plan something soon! We are trying to plan for the 2nd week of August.

Space? What's that??

Feeding the baby, have a toddler at -2 inches to my right and my boy is 4 inches in front of me..isn't life great? And crazy? I am determined to not take this time for granted! Will write more when I have 2 hands....

Late Bloomer

I was told when I was young that I was a late bloomer. It seems I don't catch onto things as soon as others do. But then again, alot of my friends don't blog.

I guess I am "just average". Boo!

Seriously, though, I did have a MySpace account that I finally deleted early this year. I just catch onto trends a little late, thus, I am finally here.
