NEVER pull your infant on the floor by her legs (or let your 7 yr. old do it)...I dragged her on her play mat across the floor; Daisy drug her bare headed (but only a few feet) She never cried, though!!

What can I say...it's Lila...
I can say that in her toddler way, she cursed at me and said "Mommy, you a stinky butt!" She was mad 'cause I gave her a "mini" time-out and wouldn't let her cross over the line into the kitchen.

They've been getting along better lately...finally!!

It's a Miracle!!

It's the Miracle I have been waiting for....more sleep. It will take awhile to feel the physical effects, but I am looking forward to it.

So I have been cleaning like crazy lately..throwing alot of stuff out. Going through closets and rooms.
I went through Daisy's closet and room Friday. In her closet I found something that I think I bought when Lila or Joshua was an infant.

THE MIRACLE BLANKET! Didn't work with my other children, but it seems to be working now, with Savannah. I have wrapped her in it the last two nights and she slept about 6 hours both nights. That is insane!! She usually woke every 2 hours! I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Meet Tessa

We have adopted a beautiful French-Arab mare! She is so sweet and gentle. We are blessed to have been given this opportunity. Her registered name is Provence-she was a racehorse, previously.
Maybe someday we will breed her with the number one Stallion in Southern Cal; which is what we were told by the man who gave her to us. He has the Stallion. He races these horses and couldn't race her anymore.
His Stallion has already won 8 races!
We plan to use her as a family horse and ease into it very slowly...especially with the kids. They are sooo excited!

Washington AND Idaho, here we come!!

I can NOT wait for our vacation!! We are booked for our airline, rental car and luxury resort-for part of our trip, and at Mom's for the remainder.

We will leave *here* on the 16th of August and head to Spokane (where my Mom is) and we will stay there for the first 3 days and then head over to Cour D'Alene for 5 nights. Then we will head back to Spokane for an extra 3 days with Mom, and to celebrate Lila's 3rd birthday!

While in Spokane we will go peach picking (I think) and then to some wineries and farms. We will go to a very nice, large park and feed the duckies and just hang out and catch up with Grandma. We will have her newly remodeled basement to sleep in and watch DVD's (well, the kids will--hopefully it will help settle them for bed).




In Cour D'Alene we will stay at the Cour D'Alene resort http://www.cdaresort.com/
It is beautiful and NICE...I made a reservation and realized how expensive it was and then changed our room to save quite a bit of money. Sooooo, that money can now, more easily, be put towards the theme park we will visit, huckleberry picking, dining out, room service (which I LOVE), spa services and jet skiing--Yipeee!
Our anniversary is the day before we come back to Spokane--that should be fun!

The resort also has a private beach, with cabanas, chairs, food and drinks, that we will be ferried to (it's a mini beach/island).
Also, Cour D'Alene is only 45 min. from Spokane! Not bad at all!

Father's Day Fun!

It's time for T-ball!!!

Daisy and Joshua have started T-ball!! The cool thing is that they are playing on the same team with our very good friends' kids! All 3 of our families know each other!

One family we signed up with and the other family surprised us when they showed up!
